The county of Aberdeenshire offers the very best Scotland has to

offer with its' dramatically imposing coastline, Cairngorms National Park and

vibrant modern city living. Literally translated as 'between the

Don and the Dee', the city of Aberdeen is commonly known as the

'Granite City' due to the locally quarried grey stone buildings including

the Marischal College - the world's second largest granite structure. Our

tour incorporates some of the lesser known but fascinating gardens and

castles of this quieter part of Scotland. Please note - three of these are

Scottish National Trust owned properties and so N.T Members would

Our base for the tour is the very comfortable DOUBLETREE by Hilton hotel

which is located just half a mile from the city centre and only a short distance

from the long sandy beachfront. The Hilton features a restaurant,

conservatory lounge where drinks and snacks are served throughout the day

and Atrium Bar along with a modern gymnasium with swimming pool and

beauty spa. All of the en suite bedrooms have satellite t.v and hospitality tray.

A passenger lift services all floors.
